Poster guidelines
The default format for the posters is A0 portrait. The standard layout is: introduction; materials and methods; results; discussion; and conclusion. You may slightly deviate from this template if it suits your subject. Please use figures and tables to clarify your results and provide references.
Please bear in mind that the ISMRM Benelux conference has a clinical focus, so be sure to emphasise the clinical applications/impact of your work in your poster presentation.
On-site you will find a plan of the poster boards. Hang your poster on the poster board corresponding to your assigned poster number. In addition, you can bring a tablet or other portable device to show a PowerPoint presentation or additional supporting material.
Oral presentation guidelines
Presentations should be in Microsoft Office Powerpoint format (‘.ppt’ or ‘.pptx’). Slide size 16:9 (widescreen) is mandatory. Please note that computers at the meeting will be equipped with Windows. We recommend you to be present 5-10 minutes before the start of the session to introduce yourself to the moderators so that they know who you are and how to pronounce your name, institution, current position etc.
Presentations are limited to 9 minutes, followed by 3 minutes of questions. The session moderators will notify you when your time is almost up. The programme is tight, so please stick to the maximum presentation time.
Bear in mind that the ISMRM Benelux conference has a clinical focus, so be sure to emphasise the clinical applications/impact of your work in your poster presentation.
Furthermore: don’t forget to include a disclosure slide in your presentation!
Please e-mail your presentation to abstracts@ismrm-benelux.org before Monday the 18th of April (23:59 CET)! Please compress your presentation as a .zip file before sending it to us.
Power pitch guidelines
Power pitches combine the maximum exposure of a presentation with the extended discussion time of a poster. First, there are plenary brief PowerPoint presentations (pitches) of 2 minutes, with no time for questions. Presentations will follow each other quickly, so please stick to the maximum presentation time. During the poster sessions, there is the opportunity to present the work as a traditional poster, giving plenty of time for discussion.
